Moss Announces Campaign for Flagler County Commission District 4

Drew has lived in Flagler County for 25 years. Before moving here, he always knew he would call Flagler home when he was older. Visiting our beautiful county since 1978 and every year thereafter for vacations with his family and to visit his grandparents, he came to appreciate everything Flagler County had to offer. He and his children live in the Matanzas Woods section of Palm Coast. He is raising three children – Jacob, Lucas, and Isabella. Jacob works in Flagler County and Lucas and Isabella attend school in Flagler.

Drew was born in Maryland, but moved to Flagler in 2001 after serving in the United States Army as an intelligence analyst. Once in Florida, he earned his Real Estate License and went into property management. After starting his family, he moved into the finance industry before pivoting back to his true passion of public service where he worked as the Records Management Liaison Officer for the Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office and later teaching the Career and Technical Education Program at PHS.

Drew’s platform is simple. He wants to do everything he can to save taxpayer money. During the DOGE conference held in Flagler yesterday with Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia, it was noted that Flagler County was ranked as the worst offender in overspending throughout the entire State of Florida. Once in office, Drew seeks to not only remedy, but reverse this by taking a serious, common sense look at Flagler’s overspending. While there may be a laundry list of things to address, the first things he will look at are: amicability among board members (more give and take with less push and pull), intelligent growth, and limited reasonable taxation. Drew wants to ensure “Home Rule” and believes the taxes collected in Flagler should stay in and be spent in Flagler.

Flagler County is beautiful. We have everything here; bustling businesses, alluring real estate, great schools and parks, natural escapes, a distinctive coastline, historic sites, and much more. Flagler has a unique way of balancing the “new” with that “old Florida charm” and offers both to its residents as well as its visitors. Drew wants to ensure Flagler’s future for generations to come.
